Reiki is an ancient holistic healing modality. It was first recognized in Tibet thousands of years ago and later rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui of Japan in the late 1800's-1900's. Reiki means universal life energy. It's a Japanese art which promotes relaxation, healing and well being. It's a natural and safe method administered through gentle touch on or close to different parts of the body. Reiki doesn't treat symptoms, it instead aids in self-healing and treating the cause of any imbalance to naturally returning you to a more balanced state.
